A SEPA credit transfer is used to transfer money between individuals or businesses within the SEPA zone, which comprises 36 countries. To issue a transfer, the account holder must provide certain information, including: 

  • the identity of the beneficiary (name for individuals and company name for businesses);
  • IBAN;
  • BIC code;
  • the amount of the transaction;
  • execution date and frequency (one-off or ongoing).
