The different steps of Treezor’s card program

1. How the program works

This phase includes defining payment parameters, such as card behavior, spending limits and authorized sectors or merchants

At this stage, based on the company’s risk profile and intended use case, our experts help define the card profile and its technical features. A standard card profile would be a systematic authorization card to minimize overdraft risks.

3. Card customization

Electronic Personalization (for physical cards only)

This involves integrating user data into the EMV chip, including the card number, expiry date and security information. Graphic Personalization

Treezor optionally offers the secure PIN Mailer feature, enabling the secure delivery of a payment card’s PIN, typically via separate mail after the card request. Ensuring that only the cardholder has access to this confidential code reinforces the security of electronic transactions and helps prevent fraud. With opaque envelopes and authentication systems, the PIN Mailer provides additional protection for personal data, showcasing Treezor’s commitment to security and client trust.

Various card inscription techniques

Embossing: The most common personalization technology, using impact punches and dies. Raised letters are coated with a heated colored foil.
Laser Technology: A laser beam engraves personalization elements onto the card’s surface. Additional options: cardholder signature, design engraving or vertical personalization.
Durable Graphics Technology: A highly resistant color ribbon is applied to the card’s surface, with the ink cured and reinforced using UV (ultraviolet light) drying.
Smart OneCard: This ‘image card’ solution incorporates all process stages, including card design software, webpage hosting, card validation module, production, personalization and distribution.
